NBA and NHL suck: February is the most depressing time of the year. When you go through the sports page, all you see is hockey and basketball scores. Football season has ended and baseball is couple of months away. I don't know anyone who watches hockey and basketball is boring.

Michael Jordan has played his last game, or has he? He was the only reason I watched basketball back in the mid-90s when he used to play with the bulls. After he retired for the second time, I believe in 1998, I stopped watching the NBA. He came back with the Wizards, I believe in 2001, but I still did not watch the NBA. I guess he really is not gone. He will be back in the front office with either the Wizards or the Bulls.
I should be a basketball fan because I go to the University of Maryland but the only time I cheer the Terps basketball team is when they are winning but othewise, its baseball and football for me. Perhaps I might gain interest if Baltimore gets an NBA team, but I don't know.
