| Oh what a comeback: My team, the Baltimore Ravens, instrumented their greatest comeback ever today against the Seattle Seahawks. They were down by 17 points with 6:23 left in the 4th. They tied the game and took it to overtime where a FG completed the comeback. On the westcoast, the Cincinnati Bengals also won so we are still tied for first in the AFC North. We will play them in 2 weeks and with them going to PIT next week, we could be up ahead of them by 2 games after 2 weeks. |

| Oh what a game, Maryland over NC State: This had to be the Terps best game of the year. With less than 6 minutes to play, they are down by 7 points. They take the ball 80 yards and score a touchdown but the ever so dependable Nick Novak misses the extra point. There is only 2:29 left and on the clock and all NC State has to do is run the clock out. It looked like they were gonna be able to do so for on their very first play their running back rushes for 17-yards. They are gonna run out the clock by running the ball. On their second play, a big hit from the Terps, a fumble and Maryland recovers. There is a minute and a half left on the clock and the Terps are at Midfield. They do now want to risk turning the ball over and the run the ball until they get to field goal territory because the ball coach has all the confidence in his kicker although he has had a bad game. They run the ball until they reach 4th down. There is less than 30 seconds left so you have to kick the ball. Here goes the kick and its good. Maryland wins, yeah. |

But what amazed me the most about the AL MVP voting was that Jorge Posada of the Yankees got 5 first place votes. Oh come on that ain't right. The people who voted must be a bunch of Yankee lovers. On second thought, they could not be. Aren't these the same people who snubbed Hideki Matsui of the AL Rookie of the Year? |

| I am still pissed: The Baltimore Ravens let one slip away from them last night. The Ravens had so many opportunities last night to score but the came out with only 22 points. Our defense played terrific holding one of the best offenses in the game to only 122 total yards. Their star running back Marshal Fault was back in the game too, all healthy and stuff. But forget all that. Hopefully our injured starting QB will be able to play next week because his back up, Chris Redman, absolutely stinks. Our defense now is ranked number 2 in the NFL. Go Ravens. |
